The Lord has offered His people forgiveness and healing. But there is a requirement on our part:
2 Chronicles 7:14-15—“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
Our land is in desperate need of healing, and we definitely need forgiveness. Hence, the call to prayer.
There are 52 weeks in a year. The vision of AZ Pray was initially to organize and equip 52 local prayer teams who will each cover 1 week of non-stop prayer in 2008. The response to the vision, along with the obvious favor of the Lord upon it, has compelled us to continue non-stop prayer in Arizona.
Similar to the passing of the baton in a relay race, the “prayer torch” will be passed to a new location each week. For each location's assigned week, they will cover all-day, all-night prayer from some pre-determined location… Our desire is to see 24-7 prayer happen in churches, hospitals, universities, daycares, airports, businesses, police stations, fire stations…
We long to see Arizona transformed as Arizonans are transformed. We long to see God’s Kingdom expand on the earth. We long to be so filled with the Holy Spirit that He would splash onto those around us, bringing healing and deliverance and restoration. We long for Jesus.
